God has called Restoration Church to bring the hope of restoration in Jesus to those involved in the foster care system in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Mission statement

The mission of Restoration Church’s Fostering Hope Ministry is to love and invest in the lives of foster parents, children and young adults through providing resources, teaching life skills and offering support, prayer, and encouragement.

We are honored to partner with amazing organizations serving foster youth and those aging out of foster care in the Santa Clarita Valley!

This year we grew in the ways we are loving and serving the youth and young adults who have faced foster care in our community!

We raised money and donated to the RISE Foundation, along with providing gifts specifically for teens and young adults at their Christmas event. We provided 75 Thanksgiving dinner bags for young adults. We also helped host Christmas and graduation parties with Finally Family Homes.

This year, we started Pathways, which provides foster youth and young adults with life skills classes on things like basic auto maintenance, food prep, budgeting3, various hobbies and even providing space to ask about questions of faith.

We served our local social workers at DCFS by hosting their Thanksgiving event and providing goodies to them for Social Worker Awareness month.

Year two was amazing - and we are excited for more to come! What a joy it is to serve these precious kids with the love of Jesus!
